Confirmed: Lexus RC (IS Coupe) arriving at Tokyo Motor Show – RC F V8 planned too

The Lexus RS Coupe, previewed by the LF-CC (pictured) arrives in November The concept version of the new Lexus IS was the LF-CC Concept, which was shown at the Paris Motor Show last year. But the LF-CC was actually a two-door coupe, not a four door saloon, so it seemed highly likely there was an IS Coupe in the works that would arrive sooner rather than later. Launched 'virtually' at the recent Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the third-generation M is scheduled to be publicly unveiled later this year bearing toned-down styling cues from the company's Essence concept. The influence of the Essence is most apparent in the sedan's undulating character line and the way that the hood plunges down to meet a low-set front grille complete with concave outer edges.

Land Rover begins production of the Range Rover Evoque

Land Rover started production of its Range Rover Evoque on Monday, as the first production vehicle was driven off the line at Land Rover's U.K. Halewood plant in Liverpool. "The Evoque is an incredibly exciting vehicle that joins a product range which across both of our brands is the strongest we have ever had--and it fits in perfectly," Jaguar Land Rover CEO Ralf Speth said in a statement.
